Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's athletic talent was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made her skills, she placed second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix completed her high school graduation having signed a professional contract with the athletics company Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. She was the youngest 200-meter world champion at the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium in her various events during the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
