Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born on
26 August 2002 is an American singer and rapper. He gained mainstream
recognition with the release of his 2019 hit single "Ransom" that had
a peak at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His mixtape debut We Love You Tecca
(2019) was the first to include the single. It peaked at #4 on the US Billboard
200. The mixtape also featured singles Love Me and Did It Again. His debut
album"Virgo world" (2020) was released on the Billboard 200 at number
10. It contained the Billboard Hot 100 chart-charting songs "Dolly",
and "When You Down". The mixtape he followed "We Love You Tecca
2", came out in August 2021. It featured "Repeat It" and
"Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe is an Jamaican immigrants,
was born in Queens on August 26, 2002. Sharpe was born in Queens in Springfield
Gardens. However, Sharpe moved later to Cedarhurst in Long Island. Sharpe was a
child with dreams of becoming a basketball player. However, Sharpe shifted his
focus to music when he was 12. He graduated from Lawrence High School. Tecca
was just nine years old age when he began rapping on his Xbox. Tecca and his
friends would often make a mockery of each other. One was uploaded to
SoundCloud years back, but it was removed. At the beginning, he did not intend
to pursue an aspiring career in music, but instead dreamed of becoming an NBA
superstar. He started to consider music more seriously when he dropped his
interest in basketball at the age of middle school. His first single,
"Tectri", which became popular in early 2017 was made with the help
of Lil Gummybear. Tecca also released "Callin" in the same year,
which was one of his first songs. Tecca's career took off a year later after
the success of his single "Ransom", which was uploaded to Cole
Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel on May 22 the 22nd of May, 2019. The
song climbed to number 4 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The track has received
more than 990 million Spotify plays and has more than 300 million YouTube
views.
